No one is playing in Custom Servers

Making custom servers (that people are paying for) second class will only drive away players. If nobody plays, nobody pays. Custom servers should have all of the bonuses of normal servers, XP, accolades, badges, everything.

I'm getting put into empty servers more and more often (West Coast US region) and seeing the same people more and more often. I don't know how the game is doing on the East Coast, but here in the West the game is tanking. Very few people on my "Followers" list are even online anymore.

Theres no reason to bother with them IMO. We need MODS, that is the ONLY reason I would even bother to join a custom server. Meltdown or a construction mod of some sort, like the good old Tribes. _________________

HR needs to promote custom servers and explain clearly how it works, who is the typical user of a custom server.

I think a part of that is also because the community is just terrible, and people are starting to decide to just not deal with morons at all.

This is a real shame considering my clan had initially expected to buy two servers, one always public and one always private, now we only need the one and it's always passworded because it's not worth keeping it public, we get one or two stragglers here and there. My clanmates who are west coast play on our server with 70-80 ping no issues. I love playing as sentinel, but there are a huge amount of servers where my kind isn't welcome (I'm kind of like the gypsy class in western europe). Making custom servers (that people are paying for) second class will only drive away players. If nobody plays, nobody pays.

It's not just custom servers that have no one playing on them...

One reason is that NOBODY know it exists and how it works. I didn't even knew XP was limited.

HR needs to promote custom servers and explain clearly how it works, who is the typical user of a custom server.

A huge problem with custom servers is that nobody knows they exist. Hell, there are nubs out there that don't even know the training mode exists.
