Post Superheavy should kill Shrikes
There are very few (if any) countermeasures to shrikes that roadkill constantly. I've even seen them used to wipe the flag D clean in a single pass.

If a shrike hits a player with superheavy it should hurt or kill the shrike. This would introduce some risk to the nonstop roadkill. It's a simple solution and it would help restore the balance of the shrike.

How about the safe fall perk? It's designed for run-over damage.

Because ramming a shrike into a person in powerarmour with grenades, spinfusor discs, bolts or mortars will just cause explosives and metal parts to fall harmlessly in the form of a small nugget without it exploding on your shrike or you taking any damage.

makes total sense. like the mortar physics.

Variable, you have to spend an awful lot of time in here defending the Shrike for something you consider balanced.

How can you possibly even construe my recommendation as "hand of god". The shrike must merely touch a person and they die instantly and my suggestion that it take damage if it hits a person with a specific perk is somehow a superweapon? I wonder what percentage of the "Slayer" awards were earned in a Shrike. I would guess it's somewhere in the high 90's.
