Post Suggestions about repair points and generator incentive
I play as Technician quite often, and a lot of times, all I do is rush around repairing things, keeping the turrets going and the sensors. I enjoy this, but it doesn't help my score at all. I feel that they should get a few more points for repairing things. Maybe 35 or 40 or even 50 points for repairing would make it more interesting instead of a measly 25. I would definitely be able to upgrade more quickly.

I also think making the generator more important would help. It may be more interesting if you can’t switch classes once you die unless the generator is up. That would give us a bit more incentive to keep it going.

I'm not biased towards technician. I spend most of my time playing as the Brute, but I do play technician when I'm in the mood for generator defense.

I agree. Kills are rewarded much to heavily, over seemingly everything else - assists,repairs,flag defense, upgrading base defenses. This needs to be balanced because all these things are equally important to victory, and right now being the slayer is more encouraged than anything else, to the detriment of the team and the gameplay.

Brute and Technician are both fun, but I gain much more points when I play as a Brute.

i dunno, i usually rack up the kills as tech. everybody wants some of my gen; they ain't gettin' any. :p

although, i haven't played tech recently. i guess i'm favoring offense or heavy flag defense these days. i'll have to play more tech, i do like fixing things.

I agree that CTF scoring needs some serious re-considerations, but I'm not sure I'm game with the repair credits changing.

They are set inline with the asset destruction credits, as well as the upgrade costs. It would inflate the economy a bit.

Most changes to the scoring system would require as much taken from one aspect as added to another. The last thing we need is more strikes raining down all willy nilly.
