I am pissed that I spent my cash to support a game that isn't supporting it's investors.

You are not an investor. You are a stakeholder, but that is apples and gigantic purple oranges.

*Limyc looks at CA and HiRez names*

Haha, purple and orange.

Now I don't have a problem with there being real money costs for cosmetic upgrades, but I do have a problem with not having the chance to purchase these upgrades with the gold that I spent money for.

They pretty much stated this is how it would work from the beginning, sorry I'm too lazy to grab the source, but then again you were too lazy to investigate the product you were buying into. Not to mention this is how most F2P games are going (League of Legends/Guild Wars 2).

What if you have VIP status you can eventually unlock skins with xp? People who bought boosters can't do much with their xp I'm guessing.

If you were dumb enough to purchase an unfinished product, you deserve whatever you get. Sorry to be blunt, but that's how it is.

HR has made it clear that there was going to be no xp / gold refund when they went live.

Ok But why do all combats I see take place like this: Two or more guys slide on the ground at huge speed which in real life would make your shoe evaporate to other dimension and meantime spamming those bombs or new players trying to be fair shooting a machine gun

No, but my local store would certainly allow me to exchange the product I bought for something of equal value within a reasonable timeframe, provided that it's in the same condition as when I bought it.

Online transaction have no rules in favor of the costumers, no laws protecting you to any serious level, and an army of fanboys in any games that attack their own interest by defending these things.

Such is the digitial world. Standards all set by the companies instead of by the costumers.

Yes. And thank you for proving that the companies can get away with it because you continue to purchase their products.

Information is the consumer's most powerful tool. If wallowing in self-pity over your own ignorance appears to be better than actually researching products/agreements before spending a significant amount of money on them, then, by all means, please continue with that rant.

Well well, thats ridiculously uncalled for?

Wallowing in self-pity over my own ignorance?

Frankly, I think you got my post completely backward.

The retailer is also not the final transaction. When you install the game, your often taken to a system that requires you to create an account and register key you got from the retailer. Registering that key turns into another grey area since your entering a separate agreement between you and a "service provider".

Thats how a lot of publishers are trying to get around the second hand market by making games a service, instead of a product. And if they could, they would cut out the retailers completely like iTunes did.
