First off - thank you thank you thank you for bringing this classic Tribes map back.

Second - I plan to play the crap out of this over PAX weekend.

Third - Thanks again for what looks like keeping the original base designs!

Fourth - reserved for later - after I've played.

:)

Flag better be on the tower. Sup with those pillars?

That turret better shoot rockets.

I don't think we're getting it this weekend. It's labeled as "pre-release content", and it wouldn't make sense to release a patch when half the studio is on the show floor. They'll probably carry a studio-branch-code dedicated server, and have them play or 0.1.966.1 whatever.

My bet is early next week, or just wait until the release patch on the 12th.

looks really nice. though with T:A gameplay features and differences from S:T and T2 (another view on using invntory stations), it will have different feelings.

I really love that Hirez seems to have made an almost 100% copy of the original map.
However, and i obviously say this without even having played it (duh), judging by the size and pattern of the hills, i fear this map will see a simliar fate as Temple Ruins did.
The rather flat hills just seem to make this another sniper heaven while the long, drawn-out pattern will most likely point out the flawed physics and weakass jetpacks even more.

I don't want to be a doomsayer and i hope to god that i'm wrong.. but it's just a gutfeeling that i can't shake ;(
