Cant walk up steps!!!

sonarfin Joined: Sun Jan 16, 2011 3:20 pm Posts: 38	Cant walk up steps!!! Why cant I walk up a step in maps? I am FORCED to use jump jets just to get into a base when its got a step - how stupid! My keybindings have been set to spacebar jump/ski and right mouse jump/jet but I cant seem to walk and jump onto a step (keys set this way because for some reason just setting spacebar to jump/ski and using it jump and right mouse jet dont work properly - it did in T2) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow walking to STEP UP on to things. Obviously I am NOT asking for large step ups - that would be silly!

Personally, Worira, I would prefer the "Crane Perk" where a crane pops up and hooks you up to the next level - should have awsome animations!

Agreed, if the jetpacks are going to have such lackluster thrust from a stand still position, (especially for heavys) it would be nice to have a ramp or conduits or stairs. Especially the flag stand on kata, and even front/back ramps on sunstar or whatever that horrible flat map is called.

Next patch, Hi-Rez will introduce the Stairwalker perk to allow you to do this.
