They're making changes for the console version. Smaller simpler maps are what we are to expect.

The new change is horrible, and the fact that Hi-Rez thought it was a good idea is the scary part. Whoever made this change needs to be banned from making further changes to any map, for the sake of the game.

I can't believe the map designers thought this change would be good, it makes me lose faith in the dev team.
I can't imagine why anybody would make this change. It just communicated bad things, like "We want maps to be simpler!" and "we don't know what we're doing."

As someone playing INF quite a lot I really don't like this change but I'd really like to hear why they did this.
To make people care about the gen in 7v7 matches ?

if they are making maps for the 7v7 gamestyle then they will lose me.

Every single cast of 7v7 that I have watched has been VERY boring. They are nothing like the casts of T2.

The bella gen play was a blast. It was so much fun that I didn't care about the CTF and hoped they would bring back siege or CnH gametypes.

Instead of dumbing down the gen play, they should have figured out how to make CTF more fun.

Indeed my friend. If anything, the underground bases need to be bigger... also, would be nice to not get stuck in every godd*mn thing hanging from the ceiling.

Agreed, I hated hitting beams and every little thing. I miss the bigger rooms where you could stand on things way up outa the way sorta surprise them.

Bella had the only sign of this ingame in any map and that was standing above the doors.

I want sprawling underground complexes to fight in and learn new tricks in. Not simpler more basic less possibilities.

Seems as if the name of the game in Ascend is not innovation and expansion but be happy with what we give you and learn to enjoy less then ever cause thats all your gonna get. Suggest away all you like but we are going to change things on what we want not what the players are literally begging for!

COME ON HIREZ! We love this game, GIVE US THE GAME! I feel held back and forced to accept far less then what should be a given.

I have played hundreds of hours in this game. I have MAXED out every single feature in every single class. Legitimately. Maybe, just maybe, I and others like me might just perhaps have some valid points that actually need to be considered.

Don't shut out the community that wants to make this a truely great game!

Who asked for smaller and simpler? Anyone.....anyone....Bueller? Bueller?

The new Bella gen position is changed to try to make the game on this map faster, pity they failed hard.
They listen too much to the match team, and changed the wrong items.
Reinstall the gen room as it was before open beta and change the positions of the base turrets, they are to close to the flag stand.

Tribes was always about flag AND generator offense/defense and with every patch they move away from the Tribes Franchise and more towards COD/BF gameplay.
