I could have misheard that. A lot of players are going to be underwhelmed by the expansion if that's true, I can tell you right now. Myself, I'd love to see acid-rain torn Vienna (my favourite locale from the novel), but the Himalayas with half-human half-cyborg NPCs would work too if you're not ready to release the Commonwealth Prime zone yet. Also, NPC dialogue should be spoken, improves the immersion and lots of players can't be bothered to read nowadays. If it HAS to be text, make sure you're invulnerable while you're reading, because the only way to be able to read all that text is deploying a robo force field next to the NPC so that you're not killed by respawning mobs you just killed 15 seconds ago. If you did read the novel, there's not much new info on this interview, mostly the talk about future Open Zones that mentions that the Recursive Colony might come first, and Commonwealth Prime would be farther along the way on their roadmap.
