Dude, I could beat pve without even bringing a boost.

Oh you dont say. How about pulling your head out of your a** honey? :3
So how are you rollin ultra max? Preamde in a shiny full purple team?
Thanks son, you know the majority of the players is and will be playing pugs which of course suck at UMS 100%.

Also thanks for the changes. The game needs balancing and even if its CQ its a good start.

Try talking to people and making friends, then you can find people you enjoy playing with and probably have more success than with pugs.

I don't really like the idea of changing the boost to cater to PvE.

So much anger in here. Some of it understandable, certainly. But try to be somewhat civil, yes?

Oathbreaker: I think everyone knew the nerf was coming. It's really hard to strike a balance of effectiveness vs tradeoffs. Personally, I don't mind medics being slightly OP. But since I don't AvA, I suppose I can't put much weight on that opinion. Just don't nerf it into oblivion. Either focus on the utility (Negating healing) or the survivability. (healing reduction, health leech/debuff, +prot)

SSB: Haven't gotten around to using it personally, but I can certainly see the strengths when one has a coordinated team. The proposed buff for PvE is misguided. The protection nerf will make assaults less invincible, but still really a pain to kill. My issue is that I don't see any PvP situation where the original boost is better.

I think another issue is that HiRez hyped conquest devices as new alternatives for different playstyles and tactics. But many of the items are straight upgrades in comparison to old devices. It's like the Bonesaw->Ubersaw in some cases. I thought the beta was supposed to help HiRez to get more feedback to adjust these items before release.

Just my two and a half cents.

Edit: Nevermind, didn't realize he was talking about the other boost :D

Wait, you don't understand how invincibility for 10 seconds is better than +3000 health / +160 Energy? I'm pretty sure I can eat way more than 3k damage in under ten seconds.

I thought he meant the original assault boost, not the original SSB.

WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM.

Looks like my daily 5 hour AvA time has been changed to 8 hours. Just great.

OTHER THAN THAT

Nice fix. Even though this is obviously targeted only at JL I think it improves this game. Especially since now hexes won't just be auto lost every time we retake them from the FUBAR zerg.

From what I have read/heard JL protested the AvA mechanics in the first place, a lot of them have been around since beta, and so know the AvA system a lot better than most of us. I dont think this was Specificly targeted at JL,but to address issues at hand. GA has only been out for about 4months now,and HR has shown that they want to keep their players. And if you really think about it you can only test a game aspecially PvP one at that,so much in beta, witch is some what of a controlled enviroment.

If you if you look at the map JL may own more HEXES but Fubar has more NET WORTH,withc is what WINS an AvA season. Hot fix looks intresting we will see how it plays out. Thanks to HR for working so hard to TRY and do what they can.

Please add 2 more maps mid season. The only people who would mind is JL, they can't stand to lose so they open up when everyone else is asleep.

Hi-Rez you gotta learn that if you don't protect people from themselves, people tend to f*** s*** up. By giving the option for people to open up in the middle of the night when no one is online, you have basically let 1 agency in particular auto win by not fighting and spitting in your face calling their actions a viable strategy...

super smash boost used to be an awesome tank tool in pve and now its barely better than the regular boost. The whole invulnerable while firing mechanic was really why this was so good, and actually more useful to pve than the knockback just an fyi. Please re-examine the changes made to this and make it a more useful to pve again. Thanks.
