Uh , no. It's trivial enough to get fast , route-less back to front grabs.

I don't believe the flag stand needs extra protection , at least not without the generator. It's the only map with a midfield worth fighting over. It does need to be extended , however.

What is "fast" to you? 200 km/hr (lol)... a good sniper would shut down anyone in static position or going 200 km/hr

Uhhh midfield on tartarus? that's stupid... you just ski right by midfielders and laugh at them like dumbasses because they are so far from their stand they are useless.

I don't know how much experience you have in real tribes ascend mode, which is not public servers, but my suggestions are valid. All maps made should be balanced and based around the competitive scene. Especially if they can be used in the comp format, raindance and temple cannot and I agree their should be maps like these for the casual 16v16 player but tartarus has the potential to be a well played well liked comp map provided it is tweeked a little.

If you think the flag stand doesn't need protection then lord of mercy on your soul.

I want you to come play O v D, 4 v 4 while playing SaH, after being anally penetrated for 25 minutes I want to hear you tell me that the stand still doesn't need extra protection. That stand is a joke to clear... its an HO/LO's dream come true, stand back on a hill from a quarter mile away and make it rain

The high located, giant log in between the bases has some weird mapping errors on it. Tried sniping from there so I could see both bases clearly but kept getting "stuck" in the blockiness of it.

Really like this map, HoFs could use some flagstand protection but otherwise it's very good.

Also it'd be nice if it wasn't possible to go way the hell up on top of the trees and stay there (and shell the flagstand) without sliding down.

I would love a little more LOS obstructions ship side, but otherwise I've been having a lot of fun in pubs on this map lately. It feels perfectly suited to improvised routes... It's a little flat, I'm more of a drydock night or katabatic guy, but i think it still plays great.

Any news if there's anything planned for Tartarus?
That open stand isn't really necessary imo, it hardly takes any coordination to dominate the flag defense.
Yes... Sentinels, but come on, that's a Pub map... =P

This map definitely needs a Temple Ruins-esque makeover.

Lots of good suggestions itt.

When are the edges on the top of the giant stump in the middle of the map going to be fixed? You walk right into them and come to a complete stop until you jump or jet over them. This map has been in rotation for long without this issue being resolved.

Those buildinghousethings need thicker walls. I have accidentally returned the flag by flying in to the wall with my capper and uor flag was right next to it :P it was just stupid...
