cooreets Joined: Sat Jul 09, 2011 6:32 pm Posts: 16	Please do something about the Loading Screen Hi there Hi-Rez, Just wanted to raise your awareness about the terrible loading screen that didn't change since the beta: I've been playing T:A for a year now and this thing didn't change at all after this time. There are 3 things wrong with it : 1. it only displays the Drydock map preview - I still can't remember the maps by their names, so I need to see visual representation 2. It has no "Loading" status - the game is still very buggy and sometimes it just hangs. I need to see loading progress to know if I should kill the game and launch it again or not. 3. It's not sci-fi looking, it's just very-very ugly. The logo has a half-shadow for Christ sake. The maps in T:A are gorgeous, so why not use them to their full potential? Here are few sketches I've made to illustrate my idea of a good loading screen. There should be a different screenshot for each map and it should be displayed proudly, unlike the Drydock screenshot in the current version. I'm not saying you should use these (although i'd be cool with that ), it's just something to think about. Thanks for your attention! It's not like it takes a lot of time either from the artists or coders, but it would help a lot with presentation feel. (Edit): GJ APC

Besides looking 100x better, having map-specific loading screens will surely help people learn/recognize the maps quicker. Hi there Hi-Rez,

Just wanted to raise your awareness about the terrible loading screen that didn't change since the beta:

I could understand the temp screen when maps weren't final, but this is long overdue.

I remember when I first started playing. I was so befuddled as to why drydock was the picture for everysingle map. I think the ones you made Cooreets look amazing. Definitely something hi-rez should change.
