Post Griefing in TDM
I would like to know what is being done about griefers as there is no way I know of ATM to report players for griefing. Everyday I play TDM and everyday I witness players very purposely and repeatedly passing the flag to each other when they are on opposing teams. The bigger a game's customer base becomes the more griefers and trolls it will attract, just ask Riot Games :P. So, how do can we begin reporting these instances? I have FRAPS so I could certainly record these occurences and post them if that would help.

Personally I do
/report
in console. It's for cheaters, but why not griefers?

Could it be that these players were trying to even up the game? Sometimes people just want to make sure the game is at least close.

You could uh, kill the guy on the enemy team who had the flag? Pick up the flag yourself?

I'd hardly call this a bannable offense.

They're not griefers, they're practicing. The only way to do it otherwise is to hire a server, and then you're missing out on some grinding like badges and first win of the day so nobody wants to do that even if they had no problem of getting a server. HiRez should be reported for griefing.

EDIT: not accolades

Post Re: Griefing in TDM
I understand practicing but if they want to practice they should be on the same team. I personally try my hardest to ensure my team wins and I expect my teammates to do the same. If you don't think purposely handing the enemy your flag is not griefing you are a moron. Obviously if I had the chance to kill the person who had the flag I would but it is not a perfect world and I don't have invincibility so it just isn't that easy sometimes. Also, there are plenty of custom servers that allow players to join them where people can practice flag passing and late at night a lot of those servers are empty so there is no need for them to join TDM games and ruin it for everyone who actually wants to win and try their hardest.

wow, people really do cry about everything. "griefing" in tdm, are you serious? shut up and get the flag. if you can't manage that, go kill things. if it upsets you that people are doing things you don't agree with (as if anybody cares), join another server.

op is a whining crybaby; thread needs to get flushed down the toilet with the rest of the turds.

I think the console command is:
/report player reason

But, passing a flag is hardly a bannable offense, it isn't even griefing for that matter...

Learn to live with it until HR wises up enough to make randomized team assignments.

Protip: Don't waste time learning to live with it. We will forever be at the mercy of whatever /vg/ or 9gag decides is the cool team flavor of the week.

I don't think you are reading the entire post, they aren't just passing the flag they are giving it to the opposite team. In case you don't know how TDM works, which you clearly don't. You want YOUR team to have the flag not the enemy's so purposely giving it to the enemy is definitely griefing. And even if I do kill the flag carrier whats to stop them from swiping it before I do and doing it again? You can't do everything perfectly everytime.
