Actually having trouble getting T1 and T:next installed on Win7.

I guess I could just take solace in the fact that I'm not bad at video games.

I can relate to all that 'gen action is overrated' drama, for I am, myself, only a PUBber that mostly defends the gen and spams the opposite flag stand, even if I have a strong Esport background in various games.
But if I love gen action so much, and I'm part of the majority that thinks this way, maybe you should reconsider your expectations. A gaming company will NOT take away the part of their game that the majority of people find the funniest. That's not how it works.
Their strategies can ONLY be either :
a) Make the other actions funnier so they become as attractive as their competitively-inefficient-but-fun thing
b) Make the competitively-inefficient-but-fun thing competitively efficient by giving it the importance people seem to give it already so it's not an overrated thing anymore but an actual win condition.

The brute update, shield on Sunstar, light turrets, forcefields, vehicles and all this other s*** is kind of a proof that Hirez tends to be using the second strategy.
Truth be told, if I enjoy gen action and get good at it, I want my team to be rewarded for my gen action skill so this strategy is very logical. And the generator is one of the factors that makes tribes unique, it's not all about the skiing.
But I feel like the first strategy isn't too bad either, it's not incompatible and hasn't been used well enough by Hirez so far. The only move they have made in that direction so far is the 'investor' accolade.

My suggestions, from most to least important :
-As suggested by some people, more accurate vocal commands that do not just describe the game situation, but tell people what to do (example : "Cover me while I repair our base" instead of "I will repair our base")
-A 'Path Opener' accolade for killing a medium or heavy near his flag stand, which would replace artillery shot for jugs (even if this one can stay, I feel so pimp when I land one) and be a new explicit objective for every offensive class (raiders, brutes, soldiers, infs, jugs, even sentinels could get it somehow)
-A new secondary weapon for the Doombringer so he could actually bring doom. The Saber is fun but it's because it's laughable, not attractive. A weapon shouldn't be so easy to counter by anything that can shoot more than one bullet per second and a class shouldn't be disappointing.
-An 'E-Kill' accolade for killing somebody that's about to return his own flag (in game condition : he's near his own flag and his flag is not on the stand)
-A speed dependant message on VSAF. Below 150 : "Can I have the enemy flag ?". At 150 : "I'm heading towards the enemy flag fast", at 200 "I will grab soon, clear my path", at 300 "Don't llama, the enemy flag is mine"
-Show the last 5 accolades earned by a player in the score boards, not only a kill/death ratio and score. Or the 2 most earned accolades if space is a problem.
-Create a separate class for chasing because a capable chasing PF costs 320k and the average newcomer cannot afford it but would definitely want to try chasing (Turn the Soldier into a "Hunter" ? It's already a strong and fast duelling class, maybe if you somehow give him a nitron-like primary weapon or belt he can fit the role)
-No spree accolade other than killing spree, classic spree, sniping spree and explosive spree in CTF. Keep the higher spree accolades for Arena and TDM. People have to be rewarded for being good with guns, Tribes has guns in it I heard. But onslaughts are a TDM thing, we can agree on this.
-Have TDM's 'Flag Killer' accolade in CTF

Any thoughts on these ?

I'm good with more accolades provided they tone frag credits down.

Scoring, as I go over in my sig thread, is broken, and needs to be less about streaks, gens, and frags, and more about actually playing CTF.
