variable- Joined: Tue Oct 11, 2011 8:06 pm Posts: 1277	We need a hand of zeus weapon - i cant kill vehicles We need a hand of zeus weapon - i cant kill vehicles with a mouseclick from half the map away. I should be able to hide behind a tree and click a button to take down a skilled pilot with impunity. Make it so. Whats that you say? Shoot him with ANY non sniper rifle? I dont have that kind of time. I can only play for about 4 seconds at a time, i need to shoot down 4 shrikes to get max xp. Whats that you say? Go faster than the shrike? Max speed in the game for a PF is like 170, the shrike goes like 600. You're silly. Oh wait, you mean i can grab at 250+ and the shrike cant do anything? Are you sure we can go that fast? Wait the shrike cruises at 170-200, are you sure? Dude stop making sense. This is the in4rwebz. I say what i want enough times and it will be so. Whats that you say? The shrike has the functional health of a medium armor? Shenanigans!! Oh it takes over 60% damage from a disc/bolt? Ya but....but....oh i can use an AR also? Any AR? Wow i didnt know that. Oh and it has a big ole hitbox too? I didnt know that either. Whats that you say? Missles arent the best thing at downing a shrike? But they're missles. Thats what they do. Oh no? Oh they just harass and provide area denial unless the pilot willingly takes the damage? I didnt know that. So im wasting everyones time by turning myself into a lvl 17 missle turret standing in midfield playing merry go round on a structure? Huh...learn something every day i guess. Whats that you say? You can hear them coming, turn yourself around and shoot them. I bait them all the time...I shoot them with a disc, they ram me, they're off repairing and the enemy flag D now has an opening to exploit. You are going to die anyway at some point....shoot the shrike, find him while he's repairing...he's completely vulnerable. Its really not difficult at all. Shrikes are only OP to players that don't know how to shoot a disc or even a thumper at one. You land a brute disc on one and its almost a one shot. A shrike has to fly straight to ram you, its easy to hit it.

Not many...plus you cant always do it depending on the comparative speed and angle. my outrage at all the QQing over shrikes is due to the people that are unwilling to shoot at shrikes flying right at them. If all there was was a handful of comp shrikers dominating, every other thread on this forum wouldnt be about vehicle haters. i call it dog legging...but how many people do you see doing it?
