Custom Servers need to be promoted

IronKane Beta Tester Joined: Fri Jan 08, 2010 7:07 pm Posts: 497	Custom Servers need to be promoted Hi-Rez, please put the Custom Server list in a server browser and make it come up as soon as you click "Play Now". I'm about at the point of demanding my money back for the server I rented. If you actually navigate to where the Custom Servers list is, you'll see a bunch of empty server. Why? Because it's easier to just click the quick matchmaking buttons to dump you in the first available server. Which of course is not going to be a custom server. If you're going to rent servers, support getting people to join them. Put up a server browser that lists "All" servers. Put a flag indicating if it's a custom server or a standard server. I don't understand why this wasn't implemented when custom server went live. It's the equivalent of selling you an ice cream shop and tucking it into the back corner of a bar. Zero street traffic. You can have the best shop in town and no one knows it because it's practically invisible.

I want to play the Nekkid spawn mode and other interesting modes you can have with the custom servers. However, I don't think I've seen the Oceanic Custom servers with people in them... ever... so I actually stopped checking them. They need to be promoted or something so people actually use them.
