So, I occasionally let my 7 year old brother play my account

Nattlefrosten Joined: Fri Feb 03, 2012 1:42 pm Posts: 18	So, I occasionally let my 7 year old brother play my account And one thing that I find hilarious is that when he doesn't do well with a class using a spinfusor, which is most of the time - he has a really hard time leading those, understandably I guess, He'll switch to Doombringer and just chaingun people down like nothing. Now, this is not a thread bashing doombringers because I think the class is fine. But just to check, I put him on Raider to use nj4, tech with his auto, and soldier with his auto. And he did equally well(relatively speaking, of course) with those as compared to any other weapons. The reason this is funny to me is people actually think autos require a decent amount of skill to use. I won't argue that at quite long range they are difficult, but let's be real, they outclass everything in a 1v1 situation. Why do they do so much damage per bullet? Why is there no spread? Why is there no recoil? With the exception of the chain gun, I think pretty much every auto is far too easy to use for how powerful they are. I've always wondered why in a lot of games it turns out that the most powerful weapons are generally also by far the easiest to use. Anyway, the only reason I thought of making this thread is because one guy in one game was raging about autos after my 7 year old brother, who rarely plays PC games, gunned him down repeatedly after he switched from spinfusor solider to auto everything else. I really wanted to let him know he was getting killed by a 7 year old with almost no experience but I figured there was no point. Should point that this is not a qq thread by any means. I'd be ok if they never nerfed autos, and I use them all the time. However, if I'm honest with myself, they're just too easy. tl;dr another auto thread

Having a couple of them to break the "routine" would be perfect but nothing like what we have now. T:A is ONE SHOT kill!!!eleven! _________________

There isn't even proof that said 7 year old even exists, if you catch my drift. i've never encountered anyone with an automatic that can mathc their "superior owning skills" with an AoE weapon of any kind. As far as i can see, and have tested on my own, automatics are complete s*** and ruin the whole tribes thing. its just COD with jet packs when people break them out. _________________ CYBRIDS 4 LYF! Being this a fast peaced skill shot game I´m still amazed at the amount of auto guns that exist. Having a couple of them to break the "routine" would be perfect but nothing like what we have now.

What you consider good with the autos must mean 1/5 hits or something then because rarely do I come across another person who can actually get strings of hits on me unless I'm a heavy.
