So my suggestion is to add it after level 6, you get assigned a mentor where you join a small 1v1 server or something. I'm rank 20, which isn't a whole lot, but it just makes me sad when I see someone fresh out of newbie zone and they don't know anything. It helps keep them interested even after the huge skillgap there is after newbie zone. It could also give both the mentor and the trainee an XP bonus of some kind, so people actually want to do it. Just a thought.

Allowing people to volunteer for a mentoring program and offering rewards for doing so (credits, gold, maybe like the referral system)? Now you're talking about something that an enterprising mentor could get behind.

You would need spec that survives across death, voip and the ability to share the trainees equipment list. Or you could have some kind of official youtube recording feature with voice. But that is "pull" teaching rather than push.

Mentoring Program
