Does it have problems? Yes. Do certain things infuriate me? Yes. But saying its in a deplorable state is just overdramatic silliness. _________________

I also think that lowering the XP cost of the weapons (at least for the two most expensive weapon classes (100k and 75k exp) a bit would be a good idea. And I don't think 'deplorable' is the right word either for this game. But it has it's share of problems, most associated with it's financial model. It mostly suites those you can play a lot of hours every day/week. All other must pay lots of $ (much more than for a standard full price game) to unlock weapons (or play for weeks/months). But you can't buy a freakin' 10$ weapon on impulse because you want it. Try playing without the expensive weapons. I did when I rolled a new account to monitor XP accrual. I still ranked high on the list even after joining the "big boy" servers. In fact, it made me question the value of them at all but in order to not be "pay to win" their very slight advantage is appropriate. So many folks feel so compelled not only to buy weapons but to buy ALL of them. I have four classes that I've never added a single upgrade to. I cap, I HoF, I Heavy O, I play a seemingly well rounded game with only a few classes. Not sure why folks seem so compelled to "catch em all." _________________

Deplorable state? Ridiculous. Better overall quality than most games and improving every patch.
