Graphics Option - in game vs menu

Desrtfox071 Joined: Sat Feb 25, 2012 3:48 pm Posts: 26	Graphics Option - in game vs menu I would like there to be a graphics setting that allows me to have the pretty graphics in the menus (where framerate is much less important) and still retain my optimized settings during game. Is this possible?

Dark19Tower Joined: Fri Sep 16, 2011 3:54 am Posts: 138	Re: Graphics Option - in game vs menu I doubt it's possible, purely from a technical approach, because (almost all of) the menu can be brought up in-game, such as if you go into the inventory/loadout menu to change something before going to an inventory station. Also, I don't know if it applies to the UE3, but it's probably like when you play an older game and change the resolution so you get the black screen then the "reverting to previous resolution in 10 seconds" message. Imagine having that EVERY time you go between the game and main menu. Wouldn't be good. _________________ Community-made legacy maps that keep HiRez mappers in their jobs.
