"Shazbucks" isn't more relevant to the setting of Tribes than the word "Gold". It doesn't mean anything. It has no contextual relevance to anything in the Tribes series besides sounding similar to a word that happens to be another in-joke. You're greatly overestimating the thematic significance of something that really just amounts to a wordplay meta-joke. If there's anything in this game that's impermeable to change, this is it, because, at the end of the day, the word "Gold" is going to attract more people than the word "Shazbuck", because everyone knows what Gold is. It's shiny, it's precious, it indicates wealth and implies importance. Nobody knows what a Shazbuck is, because it's an in-joke about an in-joke. Hi-Rez will sell more Gold than Shazbucks.
