Post Ad-Hoc Spawn Points in Training Mode
Hi there,

just a thought, but I think this would be really useful (and shouldn't be hard to implement as far as i can see):

Whilst in Training Mode, enable some key to mark the current spot as spawn point for future spawns. It drives me nuts to walk to some startpoint of a route I want to practice.
That would actually make me use the training mode, because as it is right now I just use some of the slower games (or games with a constant llama team on the enemy flag) to practice and find new routes, because then I even get XP for it.

Discuss.

This should be easy to implement, but of course would take X-hours, which they may not have right now. There was a training mod in T1 for this, so you could practice your routes... so it shouldn't be terribly difficult (not that they're the same game, but the concept is already done).

Most of your routes start from spawn anyway. If they don't, you're bad.

Would still be useful to force the spawn you want for practicing. They are decidedly less random than you'd expect, so if you're trying to drill a route from an uncommon spawn it can be annoying.

My point exactly. Other than that, sometimes you have to start routes from weird points, where the focus lies on incoming/outgoing angle rather than on super speed (sometimes the forcefields are just that nasty).

I don't reckon it is something that will be implemented any time soon (what with the launch and all), it was just an idea I had and wanted to share.
