Any sort of screen overlay will incur a performance hit. Sometimes it's very slight and not even noticeable, sometimes more so. If you were so inclined to quantify it, you could do benchmark runs with FRAPS with and without the FPS overlay.

Two things I'd like to see

1) Increased player visibility at longer distances (for those long shots)
2) Less pop in / more smoothness in fluidity of terrain, buildings from looking in my scope at 1x/2x


I primarily play Sentinel now and I am getting very good at it, and hopefully can participate in some PUGs this weekend, but after my medium setttings + ini editing, the game looks dullish and I am considering what a previous poster said in the thread, to possibly change my color correction somehow and up the contrast/gamma when I play Tribes.

My rig can handle this game fine (minus the one issue as described in the bug forum, with Beowolfs) - i7 2600k + GTX 580 + 8GB DDR3-1333 + Velociraptor and SSD.

Any help on how to do that color correction too would be greatful (I run GTX 580/nVidia, latest drivers 295.73, and also run EVGA Precision for fan and heat control/monitoring in relation to what software I have to my graphics on my system).

I have been looking and looking and I just can't seem to find the setting that allows this:






I really would like to play with the FOG disabled.
It looks much prettier in my opinion.

Can anyone figure this out?

So, I've seen rumors of a magical INI setting that makes the bolt launcher bolt actually visible, but with the... lackluster search function I can't find it. Any way to enable that on a computer running it on low?
