It would be awesome, even if it just kept all the current weapons without much change.

Epic idea. Would totally support it.

This would re-kindle my want to spend $ on the game to support it. Right now I have stopped spending; partly due to the fact I can't use the exact loadouts I want, hence there's not much point unlocking the weapons when I don't want to use them on that class. This kind of diversity I'm more than willing to pay for.

Brings back the Tribes loadouts of old, and then tags money or exp on every item. I honestly don't know why this wasn't the model to begin with. "Classes" are for MMOs.

The latest patch? Maybe ... But the Asset shielding, customizable physics, more visible grenades, ... ? No that aren't bandaids unless your definition is very broad, too broad. Also don't forgot the survey where one of the topics was 3 based class system (you know light, med, heavy). Which I voted for and they still haven't told us what they are going to do with it and maybe they will go corporate greediness on us again but why would they do that? Why are they helping us now? The population has decreased steadily and I think they want to save it now (that they have more time?). Maybe they realisd their approach doesn't work and maybe ours will? I don't know, one can only hope.

While I'm not sure if I'd like the exact loadout options in the original thread post, it would be nice to have extensive customization sort of like Gotham City Impostors where body sizes balance out based on movement speed, hitbox size, and how fast you can move with certain weapons, etc.

none of the given attributes is capable of creating depth to movement or addressing issues why movement is imbalanced and you test them on maps that were bandaids of the old system in the first place. they needed to make real decicions like many times before, but they didn't. they needed to have a vision, but they don't. they needed to have balls to cut off game breaking (or broken) elements like sentinel, health regen, shrikes, strikes, and build on a fresh ground, but no. they iterate ... slowly ... this time give you asset shielding, likely breaking the game even further than it already is. taking bits and pieces from the old games assembling an abomination.
