Well I won't be doing so now because of my progression so far (like many many others) But tbh, this could bring back life into Tribes (I'm not saying that it is dead but it doesn't have the playerbase it deserves) I hope HiRez is going to do the opposite of what they did with GA (which was first p2p and then f2p with less and less attention given) Hopefully the sales numbers will be right and the attention to Tribes will go straight up. Anyways, great work in the past 2 - 3 months! _________________

I think the current number of those is more than enough, and all extra content could be maps/vehicles, maybe a Siege gamemode, and cosmetic items. The Shocklance was pretty much the only "missing" weapon, apart from the grappling hook ofc. Phoenix/Star Wolf/Bioderm/Cybrid skins could pay for the game's maintenance during 2013.

Had gotten people the $30 god pack when it was released. I hope HiRez gives a nod to people who have paid similarly, or whatever price they come up with for full unlock. This makes me wish I hadn't as now I wish I could have put my 30 dollars towards only cosmetics. I hope the VIP discount is serious. I was just about to drop more to buy the assassin skin, now ill have to wait and see... I agree with the earlier poster that this feels like getting shafted and hirez would have to make it very fair for VIPs who've already spent their hard earnt. Reading lots of reddit feedback on f2p feedback, f2p is the new greedy business model. It's good to see hirez doing this but having spent money already I feel like is like my 30 dollars worth of gold back if I'm going to buy the one time purchase as well. I love the game and I hope hirez is listening when I say that for those of us who've already spent money make it a sweet deal... Then know it is isn't sweet enough and that they better make it sweeter. I'm a very worried but still enthusiastic customer.

As a new player and VIP this makes me upset. I've already spent 30 dollars on tribes ascend. This makes me wish I hadn't as now I wish I could have put my 30 dollars towards only cosmetics.
