shrike grabs are for people who cannot into fast anyway
matterfact shrikes are in general for people who can´t play on foot properly.

shrikes are stupid ez to shoot down with any auto fire weapon, and when they chase you just blueplate em or thumper them to the face and problem solved. The problem is scrubs who think they are oh so OP when "matterfact" any class with an automatic weapon can give a shrike a real headache.

The problem is not that shrike grabs are to fast. The problem is that the flag stands are vulnerable to such tactics and the base point defense system is fabulously useless in defending it's airspace.

Because huge slow moving beachball sized globs of supercharged gas is obviously the best choice when shooting at fast moving and mobile targets amirite?

I feel way slower in every class after this patch in game. Also it feels like jet packs take way longer to give me lift. It felt so much better before. Didn't see any of this in the notes and no one else seems to have noticed so I'm pretty confused.

As has been stated several times in this thread, liftoff problems indicate a misbound key for the jump+jets/jets only liftoffs.

I noticed this and I jump b/4 jetting just like in T2. I also seem to be getting some kind of shot delay and I'm missing targets that are normally easy to get (predictable trajectory). Since the patch I suddenly s*ck - well, I finish with the 5th or 6th highest score on my team instead of 1-3. I don't know quite what is going on.

Idea: The targeting laser can become a weapon (for whatever class, I don't care). It's just a laser you point that does damage at any range, but very mild damage from a far range (like 1 or 5), and extreme damage up close.

This would be an easy solution to the targeting laser thing, and would fill your coffers with hopefully real gold, unless you rely on fiat currency.

(VGN) not going to like some cheap hitscan targeting laser reset my health regen timer. Absolutely not.

Well thats just it. It takes up a whole weapon slot on their end. A targeting laser is a targeting laser. If they are trying to indicate where the flag person is, he might take a couple damage from the targeting laser itself. Its not like it would be that easy to hit them from across the map, or sustain the laser on them for very long if at all.
