We are currently planning to release a new patch today, Thursday, February 2.

Once the servers go down, we expect them to be down for a number of hours, as the changes in this patch are large and deployment and testing will take a while.

Based on the volume of changes in this patch, we expect the testing community to find bugs, potentially some big ones, so please report them as you find them --> and thanks in advance for your patience as we work through.

Large list.

With the number of classes being reduced from 12 to 9, if we've used credits to unlock some of the classes that have been removed, will we receive a reimbursement? (Someone was going to ask)

For clarity on the refund questions: We are basically doing a full reset on the items you own.

So when you login after the patch, everyone will start with the "base" free loadout (meaning you have just the Soldier, Pathfinder and Juggernaut unlocked).

However, you will be refunded all Gold you have purchased/spent, as well as all XP/Tokens that you have earned. Since we are combining Tokens and XP into a single currency -- every token you have earned to date will be worth ~8 XP.

This means that you will not be locked into your previous purchase choices --> and can make all new choices on how to spend your XP based on the new design without being locked into classes/upgrades/etc that you purchased previously.

I cant find it anywhere in the notes, but I'd just like some clarity on whether the particle effects on the vehicles (especially the Shrike) that were causing immense problems for everybody have been fixed? This was confirmed as a guaranteed fix for this patch yet I don't see a mention of it and for most of us its a pretty big thing.

Looks like you have to choose between spending XP on upgrading or unlocking classes. That is interesting, in theory the upgrades should come a bit faster if you would focus on those.

Infiltrators will now only reveal if they throw a belt-item and have ammo.

I am a little confused about this, what does this actually mean?

I'll be gone for a few minutes... playing with myself over the return of the MOTION SENSOR.

And woohoo for friends indicators and class shortcuts. Now I want a longer friends list.

I might have an answer. If you hit the "g" button, you will temporarily lose stealth, even if you are out of grenades. I suppose the new patch remedies this.
