I play 2-3 hours weekdays (start about 7pm UK time) and all i can weekends :p

Not really, I'm even becoming an auto w**** myself.

That doesn't mean I like them. It's just taking team oriented play to another level, playing against your tastes to help your team by being vastly more effective :D

In a competitive setting I can understand their use. But I will hate automatics much, much more in pubs and so on. We are not all auto haters here, but I'd like to think most of us prefer a nice spinfusor duel.

Hey guys. I was on a nostalgia trip this afternoon and I ended up looking up the old TOP COC from the T1/T2 days. I thought some of you might find it interesting and/or like to see it.

Remember that TOP stands for Team Oriented Player, and as such...

    1. I will promote this team-oriented nature by assisting if possible whenever help is requested by another player.

    7. Since we were all "newbies" at one time, when time permits I will answer questions or demonstrate skills that others might not know, when requested.

    8. Because TOP is the example of the ideal Tribes experience, I will treat all players with respect, including (but not limited to) newbies.

    9. I understand that taunting is part of the game, when not done to excess. Hence, I will not be obnoxious to the point of offending other players.

    10. I will not refrain from changing teams when the teams are inbalanced, whether in numbers or in skill. (The latter point is applicable for those who feel that their skills would contribute enough to make a difference.)

    11. I will abide by the house rules currently in effect. This may include no base raping (due to an insufficient number of players), flags remaining outside (to avoid 20 minute long standoffs), etc. If I don't know what the house rules are at the time when I join a server, I will ask if there's reason to believe that one or more are in effect.


Obviously some of the rules don't apply anymore (shooting people off INVs lol), and it's a little more general than the Code of Conduct posted in this thread, but I think it still has some good recommendations to follow.

PTH for chase and occasional capping

Raider for blowing stuff up, running interference, or flag stand disruption

Welcome to all you new sh4zbots. I'm currently going on a small holiday in Spain so I won't be able to update the thread/be contacted. If you need to know anything you can talk to any of our core members usually on the VoIP. I'm sure Greedybog or Kurukurin will be able to sort our any problems you might have.

Once I'm back I'll try and start maybe getting some events going and sorting out the American scene of TOP as I have no Idea of it's current situation. If needed we can accumulate both scene's into 1 mumble with subchannels as to improve communication between both. (hey and We EU people can always hop onto the American servers!) (Who needs good ping anyway :mrgreen:)

Cheers all, and don't be afraid to hop onto the VoIP.

(and kick the people playing different games in the rather painful lower regions as to get to their aforementioned back lower regions on Tribes.)
