Post Re: Hot Fix: September 24, 2011
I really don't know what else Hi-Rez expected to happen. Rather than a wide ranged area the monsters had a chance to spawn from anywhere within, there are 2 very specific easy to locate points? Come on now, that's the kind of thing you put in a single player linear game where once the player moves through they don't return.

From what I hear this very same thing was going on inside the public test servers as well... so as far as I'm concerned this is working as intended.

Have I "farmed"? Yes.
I've "farmed" spec ops runs too. If there is something I want in ANY game that I can acquire through time spent farming rather then spending real money, I would rather spend the time farming. So yeah I spent my real money on a pizza & beer and farmed mobs for the Dye's I wanted.

The GM's have been having plenty of their own fun with all this going on too. I don't AFK farm, I chat with my friends and joke around to break the monotony. So yes I did notice when I was suddenly teleported to the center of the north east dome. It was good for a laugh while spiders fought over which one would pull my newly arrived body into the poison abyss.

I would like to know what the official party line is on this from the GM's though. I'd rather not be banned for killing monsters in a game where you are supposed to kill monsters... though it would make for a funny story.

I agree. A Map of where we cannot farm would be helpful. We would listen. But id rather not be banned when my agency officers and I have conferences when we are all farming together switching afk roles every 5 minutes arc healing 3 turrets.

^ This. I would like to have an official word on wether people will be banned for this. Until that time I'll continue to do this whenever I am not actively playing the game or i am sleeping.

It seems like if you kill them before they start pathing to the door, they drop items still.[/quote]

This. It would seem the intention of the hot fix would work, if you don't get anything why keep farming?

The devs are working on another fix for this.

Thanks for the reports.
