Just whatever it takes to put it in the RG stores inventory. I'm guessing that's easily all in a days work. Gain? $$$ from people like me who have all the OC gear they want/need and refuse to buy a Booster because we don't need that s***.

Steam is running at my connection's maximum speed, and has been for a while. (Only an 8 megabit/second connection here, though.) _________________

They're nice enough to put the game on their store, and you throw them under the bus. I see how it is. Seriously, though, how does a small patch turn into three gigs through the magic of Steam? Are they doing something that you did not ask them to do? Is this their misguided way of being helpful? Was there a miscommunication? Inquiring minds want to know. _________________

Not much. Just whatever it takes to put it in the RG stores inventory. I'm guessing that's easily all in a days work.

This is a 3.172 GB patch on Steam. Three gigs. What are you doing, just sending full installs of the game for every .01 version update? That's just awful.

Very interesting. I have to download a 4GB patch on steam @150kb/s. Take me around 4 Hours. Can you tell me why ? And why i have only 150kb ? I normally have 2,5mb/s on Steam

That's weird. Steam is running at my connection's maximum speed, and has been for a while. (Only an 8 megabit/second connection here, though.)

yeah, steam is kinda random for the updates. I generally get around 2MB/s... but this time i am at 150k as well

This is not a steam issue. I cant think of any other game on steam that requires me to reinstall the whole game with every small update. :roll:
