This was such a great story, it was more well written than most of the books I read for school. I'm hella pissed at the Commonwealth now and can't wait to destroy them and steal their technology :D . Also, it looks like Dalton will be a major quest giver and it will be interesting to see what he actually looks like

I just printed out and read all of these in order of release and I have to say that these are really well written. Very fun serial despite frequently changing cast of characters.

Also, the editing is incredible. I only caught two mistakes in the whole serial, and I work as a tech writer. Both were in this episode:

Quote:
The pilot looked down at the two data pads and sighed. Reaching down and pushing the top one away, he picked up the other, holding …

Quote:
A long, drawn out sigh escaped Bancroft's throat … "I just hope they realize—that they understand that Commonwealth technology …"

I think I remember finding a dropped comma in an earlier episode, but I didn't mark it. Incredibly good editing.

Thank you, everyone, for all of the feedback and especially for finding any errors in the text! Don't be discouraged if you don't see the corrections implemented here on the forums; I've made all the necessary changes to the original documents, so that when they go out to the public they'll be complete.

oh! Read this the day it was posted but I forgot to make a comment.

Not much I have to say... the same thing I said in the other fiction threads. Nathan is great, I like these stories a lot. :)

I wonder if Dalton will be one of the guys giving PvE missions in the city. I'm hoping to see references or appearances of characters from the fiction in the game world, that would be great.

Once again, looking forward to the next one!!!

Agreed, it'd be awesome to see some of the fiction characters implemented here and there in the game!

Wow. Nicely done sir. These have been great. I love that HiRez realized that lore and story can be applied to a scifi FPS (not just MMORPGS that have magik and worgen shi- stuff). What has been done here is not just, "these are good guys" and "you are bad guy", but a blissful gray area of choice and perspective. Thanks for the excellent reading.

Fo sho.
I just hope some of this lore makes it into the game. It would be a real shame to have all kinds of amazing story that doesn't see the light of day, as it were.

You can currently see what he looks like, there is an image of him in game ;)

Explore Dome City... PM me if you can't find it, no point spoiling it for people who might enjoy exploration.
